Soapy Feelings is my slightly rough-edged handmade fantasy (or perhaps even fairytale) font. I've added several swashes, which can be used for both starting and endings of words. Eunoia is an eye-popping, high-contrast, condensed, geometric, sans serif typeface. The family is not, as is usual, built around variance in weight or skew, but alternate letterforms. Tall, thin, grid, legible and handmade! What's not to like?! The font was made using a squared paper as a base for the lines. Intended mainly for invitations, Galana is available in 4 styles: Uno, Dos, Tres, and Alt. The first three styles use the Open-Type ligature function for a better legibility. Alt style was thought for those who love swashes and flourishes. Galana was designed to look elegant and sentimental, each glyph being unique and hard to forget.

Take Trails is a handcrafted script vintage font. The font uses rounded rough edges, inked style and has texture, so this script typeface gives a feel of vintage, classic, old, handmade looked-like. The process of the font design went through scanning and digitally carving, and the texture is well crafted and was carefully added in each character.

Argenta is an informal, "hand-printing" font that has the appearance of writing by a child in elementary school. Argenta comes in three weights and has an oblique style for each weight. The child handwriting characteristic is developed in the ArgentaBobbed fonts, which add dots or little balls to the ends of letters. (Could they be called, "Ball Serif?")

Bovino is a display serif font family. It was formed in a strong and sharp characters. The moderate x height and high contrast strokes make it attractive for titles and large size usage. Bovino contain more than 400 glyphs which covered broad latin languages, its consist of 9 styles from thin to black with each matching italics.

The Book of Kells is a handwritten Irish text which dates back to the 8th century. Kris Holmes and Janice Prescott digitalized some letters from this book and some from a Grotesk font in the style of Frutiger. A computer filled in the blanks and the designers then gave the font its finishing touches by hand.

AdieuTwo is a radical revision of Adieu which was a revision of my original font, Chivalry, that was traced from Chevalier back in the mid-1990s. Its roots are obvious, but this one has small caps, small cap figures, oldstyle figures, ligatures, and more. This is a thoroughly up-to-date font ready to be used for stylish heads.

If it's at all possible to "Deco-ize" an Art Deco font even more, it's been done with Roney JNL. Named for one of the classic hotels built during the heyday of Miami Beach, this font is a stylized version of Jeff Levine's Metalet Modern; a design derived from an actual 1940s home movie titling set.

Petroglifos is a dingbats font as a collection of pre-Hispanic petroglyphs of indigenous ethnic Venezuela, most of them are found in signs carved in stone or painted in caves of the pre-Hispanic period, each icon is an accurate representation of these ancestral signs. Forms are very interesting from a visual, anthropological, historical and semiotic point of view.

Wanax is an original calligraphic font by Dave Nalle. It is a unique, freehand style, where each character is drawn in a single stroke without ever lifting the pen from the page. This gives it an unusual convoluted look rather reminiscent of an arcane or secret language. It also features a number of variant character forms.

Drop Dead Gorgeous is a slightly slanted all caps Brush font. I made it with the last of my Chinese ink (I ordered a new batch, it should arrive tomorrow). Free-flowing pen lettering of the Art Nouveau period took letter forms into interesting curves and angles. The style was embraced and revived by the 1960s counter-culture in its rock concert posters and record album covers. However, the source for Casual Nouveau JNL is a 1911 piece of sheet music entitled "Back to the Carolina You Love".

Doorkick is my grungy handmade font with rough lines and a squarish look. Sweet Lemon started off as something completely different, but I screwed up and closed one the the glyphs by accident. I kind of liked it, so I made three distinct fonts, each one with its own Italic style. In short: when a font is called Sweet Lemon, you should use it for Lemonade packaging. Or whatever.

The 1900 specimen book of the Leipzig foundry Schelter & Giesecke featured this curious hybrid of blackletter and Art Nouveau, under the name Petrarka. Its narrow footprint and large x-height make it an ideal choice for headlines which harken both forward and back. Both versions contain the complete Latin 1252, Central European 1250 and Turkish 1254 character sets.

Every possible character in the standard encoding set has been designed, using a block system which is based on varying shapes, rather than the more common grid or dot-based signage systems. Each font contains 188 glyphs. Next Stop was designed for contiguous flow, and can be made pseudo-monospaced by using spacers in the fi and fl ligatures.

The three Script fonts: Brush Pro, Ballpoint Pro and Calligraphic Pro were derived from the original Ballpoint design. A custom Brush and Calligraphic texture was added to complete the family and twenty-two clip-art illustrations were created for each style. Songbook JNL is based on a promotional blurb from the back of a piece of vintage sheet music. Its interesting style of slab serif lettering with strong Art Deco influence was worthy of re-drawing into a digital typeface. This design is the 900th release from Jeff Levine Fonts since its inception in January of 2006.

Reminiscent of the hand-lettering found in mid-century children’s books, Akemi Aoki’s MVB Grenadine is a quirky sans, broken free of its geometric roots. Letterforms bounce along the baseline in a jolly dance, yet remain clear and legible, whatever the reader’s age. MVB Grenadine is available in a broad range of six weights, each with italics.
